"The tournament is my way of paying them back" - Lou Grubb
The annual Lou Grubb Friends Fore Golf (LGFFG) tournament and dinner has raised nearly $4 million for Barrow Neurological Institute and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, including a record $500,000 in April 2008.
This event is an all-inclusive golf tournament starting the night before with a dinner and raffle and concluding with an awards dinner on Friday. It’s fun, prizes, food, and golf – all included - and all for a great cause. The hospital became the LGFFG beneficiary after Grubb underwent successful surgery for a ruptured aneurysm at Barrow. “The golf tournament is my way of paying them back,” says Grubb about the popular Valley event.
