Barrow Grand Ball
Each year the Barrow Grand Ball celebrates the philanthropic achievements of the Women’s Board of the Barrow Neurological Foundation. Founded in 1965 to raise money for research at Barrow Neurological Institute, the Women’s Board has evolved into one of the most successful fundraising entities in the Valley and the largest donor to Barrow. In 2019, the Women’s Board raised $5.2 million for Barrow.
The Barrow Grand Ball 2019 took place on Saturday, January 26 at The Arizona Biltmore. As a part of their annual fundraising effort to benefit Barrow, the Women’s Board chooses a special project for collective support. For 2019, the board selected the Barrow Innovation Center. In the past, donations from the Ball have supported medical research for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, aneurysms, migraines, concussions, stroke, degenerative disc disease, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s, ALS, and many other debilitating disorders.
More than 300 of the Valley’s most well-known leaders and philanthropists attend the invitation-only black-tie event.
