Barrow Grand Ball

Each year the Barrow Grand Ball celebrates the philanthropic achievements of the Barrow Women's Board. Founded in 1965 to raise money for research at Barrow Neurological Institute, the Women's Board of Barrow Neurological Foundation has evolved into one of the most successful fundraising entities in the Valley and the largest donor to Barrow.

As a part of their annual fundraising effort to benefit Barrow, the Women's Board chooses a special project for collective support. For 2018, the board selected the Alzheimer's disease research of Dr. Marwan Sabbagh. In the past, donations from the ball have supported medical research for the treatment of brain tumors, aneurysms, migraines, concussions, stroke, degenerative disc disease, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's, ALS, and many other debilitating disorders.

More than 300 of the Valley's most well-known leaders and philanthropists attend the black-tie event. The 2018 Co-chairs are Jan Cacheris and Carrie Hall.
