Bob Lavinia

Bob has served as a director of PBF Energy since February 2016. He began his career at the Gulf Oil Corporation and Phibro Energy Corporation. After serving in executive roles at Tosco Corporation, in refining and gas and convenience store management, Bob joined Petroplus Holdings AG, the largest European independent refining and wholesale marketing company in 2007, and he became the CEO in March 2008. In September 2009, he retired from Petroplus and remained a board member until 2012.

Bob has served on two of the Arizona Governor’s task forces, chairing the most recent commission, which addressed Arizona’s “Essential Services” related to motor fuels, natural gas and power generation. Bob graduated cum laude from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Management program.
