🌍 #BarrowGlobal update: Our Barrow Global team recently visited Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) in Tanzania, East Africa, continuing our groundbreaking neurosurgical partnership established in 2022. Before, KCMC didn`t have a neurosurgical training program, meaning general surgeons handled complex cases.
Thanks to the Franke family in establishing the Franke Global Neuroscience Education Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, Barrow is implementing a "Train Forward" model, bringing Western neuroscience specialists to developing nations for extended in-country training.
